Product Review: Maybelline New York 24hr Color Tattoo Eyeshadow

Eye Studio Color 24hr Cream Gel Shadow in "Bad to the Bronze"
 Aloha dolls,
I am doing another product review because I am at school and I don't have time to film right now.
This product by Maybelline is a creme eyeshadow that I use almost everyday. I bought the shade "Bad to the Bronze" because I needed a nice bronze color that would compliment my brown eyes. I really recommend this to anyone. Especially if you need something when you are in a hurry to go to work or school.

Overall, there was no cons to this product. I found nothing wrong with it while using this product. There were many pros to this product that I love. The shadow comes in a glass jar with a twist on cap. When you first open the product, the shadow is very creamy. Usually, I just apply this with my fingers and rub it into my lid because it would just ruin a brush for me. After a while, the product starts to get a little bit harder. This isn't bad though. It is actually a lot easier for me to use because it is very easy to overbend this when you first use it.

It is very true to color when applying. It is very easy to build the color with this stuff. My favorite makeup look with this is just this shadow itself with winged liquid eyeliner. It really compliments my eyes. If you are going for something a little bit more dramatic, I would apply some light brown/brown eyeshadow in my crease. Just to contour my eyes a little bit. This product is inexpensive enough for someone on a budget. I bought it for about $7 at the drugstore. This is definitely worth it.

If you have ever tried it, tell me what you think about it below. I would love to hear!

Product Review: Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream

Smashbox Camera Ready BB Cream with SPF 35 in "Light"
 Hey everyone,
This is a product that I have been using for I super long time. I first found about this product when I made a trip to Sephora for a foundation that was lightweight and natural looking. This was the perfect thing I needed. This BB Cream says to prime, perfect, protect, hydrate, and control oils. Overall, I think this product does everything it says it will. If you need something for everyday use, this is something I highly recommend.

Over my time of using this product, I only found a few flaws. Depending on the day, my skin can get very oily. Its ability to control oily skin like mine isn't the best. By the end of the day, my skin goes back to getting oily. If you live in a place with high humidity or if you sweat a lot, this product won't last as long. For me, this lasts about 5-6 hours. Since all I do is go to school and come home, this is enough for me. If you need something long lasting, I don't recommend using this as much. Lastly, this product is semi-expensive. It is $39 for 30 mL. Being a teenager, this was quite an expense for me to pay. If you are on a budget, I would recommend a drugstore brand (Maybelline New York Dream Fresh BB 8-in-1 Beauty Balm Skin Perfector is very good also).

Although, there are many more pros to this BB cream. It is a great primer/pore filler. I would use this under my foundation for events and my face would look flawless. It helps a lot for the foundation to adhere to your skin. But, if you use it by itself, it is just as good. The finish is very natural, it blends in very well with my skin. I have light skin tone and it blends perfectly. The BB cream itself is very creamy, no chalky feeling, and no odor.

If you've ever tried it, let me know what you think below! I would love to hear.

Introduction

Hello everyone! Just to get this blog started, I'm just going to go over what my blog is about in general. First of all, my name is Haley. I created this blog as a project for school. We need to do a project on something we are passionate about and one of my passions is makeup.. obviously. I am going to try to post a tutorial once every 1-2 weeks. I will be doing product reviews, sometimes recipes, and other things that help you out.
